The LYB lateral gas pipeline is a ~13 kilometre gas pipeline from the withdrawal point on the Victorian Transmission System to Loy Yang B Power Station (for start-up gas) and Valley Power Station (a gas-fired power station adjoining Loy Yang B Power Station).

The LYB lateral is a single user facility as it is a third party access facility.
