The Enwave Victorian Networks is a distribution network located in Victoria. The network is owned by Enwave Australia and will provide reticulated natural gas to 11 towns across regional and rural Victoria using a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) “Virtual Pipeline” rather than a traditional gas pipeline.
The Enwave Victorian Networks is currently a non-scheme distribution network, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 30 November 2022, the AER granted a 5 year category 2 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR for the Enwave Victorian Networks.
