The Woleebee Lateral is a transmission lateral pipeline in central Queensland. The pipeline is owned by Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG), which is a joint venture between Origin Energy, ConocoPhillips and Sinopec.
The lateral is approximately 87 km in length and has a diameter of 762.0 mm. The Woleebee Lateral connects the Fairview to Reedy Creek pipeline with the APLNG pipeline.
The Woleebee Lateral is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapters 4 and 5 of the NGL and Part 10 of the NGR. In 2012, the Commonwealth Minister (being the relevant minister) granted a 15 year non-coverage determination for the APLNG Pipeline and associated pipelines such as the Woleebee Lateral. On 26 February 2018, the AER granted a 5 year category 1 and category 2 exemption under the former Part 23 of the NGR for the Woleebee Lateral using the name APLNG Mainline Laterals. On 30 November 2022, the AER granted a further 5 year category 1 and category 2 exemption under the former Part 23 of the NGR for the Woleebee Lateral using the name APLNG Mainline Laterals.
The Woleebee Lateral was completed in December 2013.
