EO6 is a transmission pipeline located in central Queensland. The pipeline is owned by Queensland Gas Company (QGC).
The EO6 pipeline was constructed as an upstream gathering pipeline for the Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) project in south-west Queensland, although it is currently capable of flowing in both directions. The pipeline connects the Bellevue central processing plant (CPP) with the APA Group’s Berwyndale to Wallumbilla pipeline (BWP), as well as to the APA Group’s Bellevue Lateral.
EO6 is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 30 November 2022, the AER granted a 5 year category 1 and category 2 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR for the EO6 pipeline.
