The pipeline is used exclusively for the transportation of Senex’s gas, which is natural gas. The pipeline was commissioned in September 2019 and is owned and operated by Jemena (Jemena Darling Downs Pipeline (3) Pty Ltd ABN 83 127 059 152).
The Atlas Gas Pipeline is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the National Gas Law and Part 23 of the National Gas Rules. On 7 July 2020, the AER granted a 5 year category 2 exemption under Part 23 of the National Gas Rules for the Atlas Gas Pipeline.
