The Elliot Lateral is a lateral transmission pipeline in the central region of the Northern Territory. The pipeline is owned by APT Pipelines, a subsidiary of the APA Group.
The Elliot Lateral is 4 km in length. The Elliot Lateral connects to the Amadeus Gas Pipeline and is used to fuel the Elliot power station at the Elliot township.
The Elliot Lateral is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 13 December 2017, the AER granted a 5 year category 2 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR for the Elliot Lateral.
On 30 November 2022, the AER granted a 5 year category 2 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR for the Elliot Lateral.
The Elliot Lateral was commissioned in 1989.
