NSW: Camden Sales Gas Pipeline

NSW: Camden Sales Gas Pipeline

The Camden Sales Gas Pipeline is a transmission pipeline in south-west Sydney, NSW. The pipeline is owned and operated by AGL Upstream Investments Pty Ltd.

The Camden Sales Gas Pipeline is 120 km in length and has a capacity of 10 TJ/day. The pipeline has been used since 2001 to supply gas from the Rosalind Park Gas Plant (which collects and compresses coal seam gas from nearby wells) into the Moomba Sydney pipeline and the Jemena Gas Network.

The Camden Sales Gas Pipeline is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 3 January 2018, the AER granted a 5 year category 1 and category 2 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR.

AGL announced in February 2016 that it will cease production at its Camden Gas Project in 2023.
